Wine & Food Tourism Awards
There will be up to three honourees in each category: INNOVATION; AUTHENTIC SOUTH AFRICAN EXPERIENCE and WWF CONSERVATION LEADER. They will each have the rights to include the Wine & Food Tourism Awards logo on all marketing material for the following year.
Individuals or teams who have been named as honorees three years in a row will receive membership to the elite “Wine & Food Tourism Honorees Club”. Thereafter they will not be eligible to enter for the same award again.
Eligibility
Only properties, persons, teams or projects that fall within an existing official wine route area, as defined by Wines Of South Africa (WoSA) are eligible to enter. All properties, entries and projects are judged on excellence and merit, not size of business.
The Judging Process
The nominations will be judged by a panel of industry experts. In every case, nominations will be solicited from the public. All entries will assessed by the judging panels. Kindly provide extensive and detailed information to enable the judges to arrive at a reliable shortlist. The awards will be announced during the conference. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into thereafter.
How to Nominate
