Jean-Pierre Rossouw has been involved in the South African wine and food arena since 1999 – as journalist, author, publisher and now retailer. Author of Tasting the Cape and the fun-loving title Everything You Wanted to Know About Wine but Were Too Afraid to Ask, he has also been the publisher of Platter’s South African Wine Guide and founded Rossouw’s Restaurants. In 2021 he bought Wine Village Hermanus, the leading South African fine wine retailer that was founded in 1998.
