Since 1996 Petra Mayer has been consulting international generic winegrowers’ associations and wine producers on marketing and sustainability. Her enthusiasm for wine and tourism was sparked during her childhood in her parents’ winery. Later she studied oenology and sustainable development (MBA), founded the “South Africa Wine Information” and, on behalf of Wines of South Africa, represents the interests of the South African wine industry in Germany as WoSA Market Manager.
