Greg Hughes

Greg is a seasoned senior executive, board member and CEO, having enjoyed a career in media and publishing across the globe spanning nearly three decades. With international NYSE-listed corporate as well as independent company and private equity experience, he has successfully started and acquired, operated, grown and exited businesses across the publishing and media, retail, investment banking, advisory and marketing fields. Greg also worked as a writer and journalist for many years and published his first fiction novel in 2023. He currently serves as a non-executive director on various company Boards in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Greg holds a B.com degree from Rand Afrikaans University (completed 1999) and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand Business School (completed 2006) specialising in investment management; corporate strategic management; international business; and negotiation. His thesis is entitled: The Creation of Virtual B2B Communities in South Africa.
