Winemaker, Delheim Wines

Nongcebo Langa is a winemaker at Delheim Wines, and has been in the position since 2022 where she started as an intern in 2019. She is alumna of Stellenbosch University, where she graduated with a BSc Viticulture and Oenology and an MSc Agri in Oenology as well as UCT Business School where obtain the Business of Wine qualification. She was in the top 5 for young winemaker of the year for Diners club in 2022 and went on to win the award in 2023. She has also been a finalist is the Western Cape Prestige awards in 2022 where she excelled in the Stellenbosch region.

She has spoken in panels such as Forbes Woman Africa Summit and Stellenbosch University careers café. She has broadened her knowledge of wine through international experience by making wine in USA and Germany.

Currently, she has been dipping her fingers in wine judging and has completed the Michael Fridjon Judging academy course with distinction and has gone on to be a part if a few judging panels. It has been an exciting journey for this Pietermaritzburg girl to get to where she is, and she is not done yet.
